EC Certificate of Origin

EC Certificates of Origin

EC Certificates of Origin may be requested by your customer for the use of Customs Clearance, payment against Letters of Credit or simply to meet “quota requirements” of the importing country. The Certificate of Origin acts as proof of where the goods were originally manufactured.

What do I need to send to the Chamber with my Certificate of Origin?

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list (if the gross weight is not shown on the invoice)
  • Full company names and addresses of the manufacturers should be shown on the back of the pink page
  • If any of the goods were manufactured overseas, we require proof of this by way of a commercial invoice or foreign Certificate of Origin.

We've been members of the Watford Chamber of Commerce for a number of years now and have found that our membership helps us to engage with the other like-minded businesses, as well as keeping us updated with local matters and plans for Watford and the surrounding area. Chamber events are particularly useful in our drive to be more active in our local business community. The Chamber Team are really friendly and approachable and show a genuine interest in our business.
